Our Moleskin Jeans are made in collaboration with Todd Shelton at their East Rutherford, NJ factory. The factory's focus on fit, materials, and exceptional manufacturing has created one of the most popular jean products on the market; you will notice the difference with superior design details, like the continuous belt-loops and the badass YKK USA heavy jeans zipper.
These jeans have a classic straight fit: medium rise, relatively slim through the thigh (stretch allows for even more comfort and ease of movement than 100% cotton fabrics), and a straight leg opening.
The German moleskin fabric is incredibly soft and durable and the rich loden green color is also very easy to pair.
- Two piece curved waistband, lockstitched
- Lockstitch hemming
- Continuous belt-loops to eliminate frayed ends
- Zip-fly (heavy jeans zipper from YKK USA in antique copper)
- Pre-washed to stabilize sizing
- Machine wash cold, inside out, hang dry
10.9 oz German Moleskin in loden green, imported
Moleskin is a densely-woven cotton fabric, woven and then sheared to create a short, soft pile on one side. The feel and appearance is similar to suede or chamois cloth. Clothing made from moleskin is noted for its softness, durability and even wind-resistance.
98% cotton / 2% elastane
Classic fit: medium rise, relatively slim through the thigh (stretch allows for even more comfort and ease of movement than 100% cotton fabrics) and a straight leg opening.
A note on fit: no shrinkage issues!
All TS jeans are constructed to avoid shrinkage issue. The fabric cut into 2 yards blankets before cutting, and then washed and dried remove shrinkage. This method is very uncommon but completely removes shrinkage issue. Machine wash regular, air dry recommend; however, machine will not ruin the fit. Machine dry will cause a tight fit out the dryer and then will loosen up.
The Todd Shelton Do It Yourself Jean Measurement Guide
For more than 15 years, Todd Shelton has stood for improving over changing. They lean on the proven success of timeless style and minimal design to make a family of timeless menswear products you can depend on each day for a lifetime.
For the first eight years as a brand, they outsourced the manufacturing of their products. They realized that outsourcing was slowing down the fit solutions they could offer their guys, so they built a factory in New Jersey. Their seamstresses shipped their first product in August 2012 ... a jean. Today, jeans are still their best-selling product and now all products are made inside their NJ factory.
