Heavy Weight Longsleeve Tee
Garment dyed, pre-washed, and made from two ends of custom two-ply twisted yarn, the Heavyweight Long Sleeve Tee from American Trench is a tough tee that's built better. Compared to our Interlock Tee, you'll quickly notice these heavyweight tees aren't nearly as precious. They're also not as full, either, with a slimmer, shorter fit - they also feature a chest pocket.
Most heavyweight tees are made from 18 Single Ply Cotton (18 Singles) - ours is a two-ply, made with 30 Singles ring-spun cotton (the bigger the number, the finer the feel). This "thirties two-ply" yarn yields a heavyweight but soft feel.
The result: a heavy tee that holds its shape through years of wear and wash.

Cut and Sewn in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles garment district is perhaps the last considerable collection of clothing manufacturers in the United States. Made in LA doesn't usually imply one factory or one building, it is its own ecosystem of wash houses, dye houses, knitting mills, cutting facilities and sewing contractors. There are speciality makers as well such woven labels and zipper manufacturers - all in close proximity to each other. Creating products start to finish in the same location has an old school feel - but there’s nothing at all ancient about manufacturing in L.A.
