Corridor x American Trench indigo dye button up shirt
In collaboration with Corridor NYC: a cotton and linen blend shirt, cut and sewn in NYC from Japanese fabric then indigo dyed by our friends at Riverside Tool & Dye in Philadelphia. The natural indigo dye treatment is mottled on purpose, no two shirts look exactly alike. We recommend pairing with solid color jeans or trousers.
Fabric and Construction
Our friend Dan Snyder, the founder and designer of Corridor has created a three panel shirt fit that is based off of a vintage 1950's era pattern. The fit is trim and flattering for an American body type with a wider shoulder and more tapered waist without the use of darts or pleats. Chain stitched seams add durability and ensure the garment lays beautifully on the body. It's a superior fit that feels great, looks great, and washes and wears extremely well.
The fabric is a 50/50 blend of cotton and linen in a soft white, expertly woven in Japan. It has a nice slub texture characteristic of linen but still looks polished. It's a four season fabric that will feel cool from late spring to early fall and provide good layering warmth in the colder months.

This style fits in line with the normal Corridor fit although maybe a tag snug since the indigo dye treatment required a full wash and rinse. If you are familiar with Corridor we suggest you choose your normal size. For best fit, we recommend you go by your blazer/sportcoat size. For example, if you are size 42 blazer, you would take a Large in this shirt.
