Cockpit USA x American Trench Deck Jacket in Waxed Cotton
The American Trench x Cockpit USA deck jacket is based on a classic WWII garment with a faux alpaca lining, recast in a water repellent waxed cotton herringbone twill, giving it a contemporary aesthetic and ultimate function.
For over 45 years Cockpit USA has been a supplier to the Armed Forces and a standard for quality leather and textile aviation jackets for pilots and civilians alike. For Cockpit USA founders Jeff & Jacky Clyman, each garment speaks to their life’s work making historic military garments and their dedication to American craftsmanship.

PrimaLoft® Silver insulation on sleeves
hip length, great as a car coat
heavy metal zip with button-up storm flap
10 oz herringbone twill waxed cotton - extremely water and wind repellent and re-waxable. It will develop a beautiful patina over time, similar to well-worn leather jackets but with the added weatherproof functionality.
The faux alpaca lining is soft and very warm for its weight. It's a replica of what was used on the original WWII deck jackets. It has warmth and luxurious feel of a shearling lining without the cost and the preciousness.
Fits true to size (we suggest you order the size associated with your suiting/blazer size). Meant for layering, enough room for a heavy button-down shirt and/or sweater or blazer underneath.
