100% Ventile Shell. Lined in Cotton. The Ventile face fabric is light weight but also breathable and wind proof. It's a beast in foul weather. Fully lined in lightweight, breathable cotton; with sewn in storm flap with railroad stitching; Tapered wrists and hem; Internal Ventile facing to enhance jacket drape (either zipped or not). There is also a light insulation that helps keep you warm in transitional weather but not too warm. A bit more about Ventile: Few forms of cotton fiber stack up to the 100% long staple Supima fiber found in woven Ventile. The dense fibers have a unique swelling property - which yields cut-above weatherproofing. The key here for Ventile is its breathability. A lot of materials are waterproof - but they're often sweaty on the inside, barring insulation holes. This piece of outerwear was proudly produced in collaboration with Better Team USA. Founded by Horacio Di Battista in 2014, Better Team sits twenty minutes outside of New York City in northern NJ, in a bright and modern 16,000 sqft manufacturing facility specializing in luxury outerwear. Horacio Di Battista's decades of experience started at a young age working in his father's apparel factory in New York City. He eventually expanded his own business to include factories abroad and his extensive experience with the production of luxury outerwear guides all aspects of the operation. Better Team represents a new movement in United States apparel manufacturing - forward looking, energetic, and focused on being a leader in the production of technical and luxury outerwear.
